Bjork is collaborating with Timbaland for her new album, the follow-up to 2004's vocal-and-sample-based 'Medulla.' According to New York's Manhattan Center Studio, the Icelandic songstress and the hip-hop producer recently recorded there, with Jimmy Douglas (Jay Z's 'The Blueprint') acting as engineer.
Bjork, no stranger to left-field musical adventures, recently teamed with avant garde director/boyfriend Matthew Barney for the soundtrack to his film 'Drawing Restraint 9.' She is also releasing 'Surrounded,' a box set of her seven solo albums, on June 27.
Timbaland most recently offered his talents to Nelly Furtado, producing more than half of the tracks on her new album, 'Loose,' and appearing in the video for the first single, 'Promiscuous.'
