I can't believe you omitted Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks. They both have great voices and were very successful in 2006. What were you thinking in choosing Kellie Pickler over Carrie Underwood? Taylor Hicks is one of the best and most original artists to come along in years.

Where are Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks? Carrie was BIG last year and Taylor won the title on the most watched TV reality show of the year. His 'Do I Make You Proud' was such a powerful song. What's up with your list?

Regina Spektor! She has more music credibility than most of the artists on this list.

TAYLOR HICKS!! Without a doubt the best new music out there. How in the world could you bypass him for Ne-yo and Daughtry and others (oh, right Daughtry is the part of the screaming, tatooed, gangsta crap that keeps going on an on ). Pure crap - his music! Daughtry's tracks all sound the same. CARRIE UNDERWOOD - can you even say grammy?? Come on people - get real!!
