Timbaland Prepares to 'Shock' Fans

I'm starting to think Timbaland is the Ja Rule of 2007. Hold on ... I mean that in a good way!

Remember a few years back when Ja brought Jenny back to the block and actually made you like his singing? Well, I always loved Timbo's beats, but ever since he reinvented Nelly Furtado and helped Justin kill Soundscan, he's made me embrace other genres a little bit more than I used to.

His new CD features Jay-Z and Elton John, and while I don't consider myself a rock fan, I'm kinda feeling that joint with She Wants Revenge.

Listen to our exclusive preview of four tracks off 'Timbaland Presents...Shock Value' and let me know what you think.

To answer comment no.2, I hope that Britney Spears considers having Timbaland to produce some songs on her album. I just imagine Britney's voice over Timbaland's aggressive rhythms, music and beats. If he worked it for Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, it would be a potential blockbuster comeback for Britney.

I heard Timbaland's new album and it is HOT!!! It is explosive in the music, the beats and the rhythms! And heavily funky! How many people can get Dr. Dre, Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott on one song? That song was funky! And then have Nelly Furtado and Justin on a party-filled song? And then shift to having rock artists like Fall Out Boy on it? And have a killer song with 50 Cent and Tony Yayo? And Sebastian and Attitude with their out-of left field song on here? And then have Keri Hilson (who will have an album out soon) on 3 songs? And then have Nicole Scherzinger on a song with Keri? And then have a song with the great Elton John on here? It takes three songs to get into Tim's rap style or singing style, but he sounds quite good anchoring himself too. There's not one bad cut or filler track--everything is so well done! Timbaland is a hot producer in his own right!

Timberland is quite frankly the best producer in the game at the moment. He has been all over the charts and revamped Nelly Furtado's career, helped Justin dominate the latter part of 2006, made Omarion actually put out an amazing possibile Grammy Nominated single and now he's trying to bring some of that success his way. I think 'Shock Value' will be just that. I will be buying my copy! KUDOS to TIMBO!
