Sometimes I wonder why rappers talk about how they want to get out of the bad neighborhood that they were raised in for a better life and then after they are famous, you see them messing with the wrong people that were raised in that neighborhood. I am confused. Excuse me for saying this but I feel that if rappers did not go back to where they came from, they may not have much to rap about because they want to continue to represent where they come from and be the voice of Detroit or Atlanta or Philidelphia. That's my opinion. You can help me understand if you'd like. Like I said, I am confused!!!

For the person comment number one ((((Nelson)))
Ummm, It kinda offensive you talking about being the voice of these different cities. Especially Detroit, Im from Detroit, and yes its not perfect, but it does not represent violence like your making it seem. Rappers, well its a very controversial subject, but in my opinion, they dont represent whole cities hun.

i dont understand why rappers do all this stuff. are they trying to ruin their career? (thats fine with me, since their music SUCKS anyway.) they ar elosers for doing all this stuff. you dont see as many other genra producers do all this stuff. i guess it has to do with all the sex, drugs, and violence thrown into their songs (aka noise pollution)

Getting busted with guns, not only happens
to artists that are from hip-hop or rap.
but to celebrities as well as ordinary
citizens..
It's about responsibility and not pointing
the finger at anyone in particular..
Guns and Violence destroy lives, maybe thru
music something positive can come...

All rap music don't suck only some. most of the rap people listen to is things they relate to, so rap is just made to make money and for entertainment. but as for me i love rap artists like lil wayne, t.i and more. rap is what i listen to all the time just to have fun and just chill that's why i listen to rap. most people think it's bad but i know they talk about drug and h**, Bit** but it's what the see and what we go through so it's not all that bad...... I perfer R&B
What do you think?

mary b perryat 7-24-2007
hey they are human just like the rest of us, its because they are famous the media makes a big thing out of their arrest, i cant beleive how people judge others when they probably have secrets of their own that dont even compare to these guys, they are human beings rich ones at that i think thats why people are so quick to put judgement on these rappers, what about paris, lindsey lohan, mel gibson just to name a few
