David Banner isn't lacking ambition. Banner, who appeared in 'Black Snake Moan' and an episode of the hit USA series 'Monk,' is furthering is acting career with roles in the upcoming 'This Christmas,' with Chris Brown, and 'Days of Wrath.' This is in addition to his work as a producer on his Cartoon Network show, 'That Crook'd 'Sipp.'Fans of Banner's music, however, need not fret. Banner returns with his forthcoming album, 'Greatest Story Ever Told,' which features collaborations with Akon, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Snoop Dogg, among others. '"I'm looking forward to putting an album out before the end of the year," he says. "We're just getting geared up."
Those outside interests have been a boon to the music he believes. "It's the force of the music that's allowing me to push my sense of creativity a little bit more," he says. "With rappers, a lot of time we don't really have the opportunity to really push the lines of music because we gotta sell. I'm making so much money in other places I can afford to be a little bit more creative."
