Now that the war between Kanye West and 50 Cent has been settled, Sean "Diddy" Combs is proposing a challenge of his own -- over perfume.
Diddy is so confident about Unforgivable Woman, his first female fragrance, that he's asking Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwen Stefani to put their respective scents up against his. "My fragrance smells better than theirs," he told PopEater. "Women know how they want to smell, but as a man, I know how a woman should smell. I bring another element into it."
Diddy -- who name-checks Demi Moore, Megan Fox and old flame Lopez as some of Hollywood's best-smelling ladies -- is no newcomer to the fragrance game. Unforgiven, the male cologne he introduced last year, became the top-selling fragrance of 2006. And like its male counterpart, the ad campaign for the Unforgivable Woman is mired in controversy, thanks to a racy, three-minute "moviemercial" that censors deemed too hot for TV.
"We're selling sensuality, passion and provocativeness," Diddy said. "[The advertisement] shows some of the naughty things people do. It's very erotic, but it's also authentic. We've also been getting a little flack for it because people haven't seen a black man portrayed like this in a prime-time fragrance ad. It's revolutionary and a little bit shocking to people.
"It's not really racy to me," he continued. "I mean, I only get half naked."

Based on this article, I will never spend a dime on "Diddy"'s fragrance. How arrogant.

I saw the commercial and it didn't look to me like he knew what women wanted. He looked like he didn't know how to look sensual or even like he had been with a woman before by his movements

I own all of the scents,b ut his and thanks to this artical, I won't buy it. What is with him and all of these "war" things. Why can't he just leave people alone??

I Love Jen Lopez's "Still". It is a great scent. I won't be buying any overpriced rappers perfume - what for? How is Puffy deciding what a woman should smell like - He goes from the Burger King commercial to women's perfume?? Give me a break!

Why wear fragrance from any celebrity in the first place? Just like these over zealous designers, what do they know about making quality perfume for men and women? That is why I only wear naturally based scents from old world European perfume houses, like La Maison du Parfum. They are from Grasse France(perfume capitol of the world) and now they have their first US location here in Chicago. Why settle for glorified imposter fragrances when you can have the real deal?

No offense to Diddy but I would rather bur more J.Lo's perfumes than his anyday. She knows how to sell her perfume products and they don't be costing a fortune unlike Diddy mens collegne. So I bet he will loose this challenge hands down.
