Birdman, along with 16 other individuals, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Tuesday, after the RV he was traveling in was stopped by the police on Interstate 81 in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Kingsport police claimed they could smell marijuana from inside the vehicle and -- after obtaining a search warrant -- discovered almost a pound of marijuana in a trash can. To add insult to injury, two guns turned up in the search.
Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, was charged and jailed along with his wife, Brittany, and brother, Ronald Williams.
