Pimp C, who was found dead at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last week, will be remembered at a funeral service in the rapper's hometown of Port Arthur, Texas on Thursday.
L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the hotel on November 4, only to find C -- one half of rap duo UGK -- dead in his bed. Currently, there's no official word on what caused the rapper's death. An autopsy was performed, but results won't be available for up to eight weeks. Officials have stated that there was no sign of foul play.
UGK -- which consisted of C, whose real name was Chad Butler, and Bun B -- were most commonly known for guest appearances on Jay-Z's 1999 hit 'Big Pimpin'' and Three 6 Mafia's underground hit, 'Sippin on Some Syrup,' as well as their latest single, 'International Player's Anthem (I Choose You),' featuring OutKast. The latter is found on their new album, 'UGK (Underground Kingz).'
