Rapper-turned-actor-turned-director Ice Cube and Los Angeles-bred producer DJ Pooh are teaming with Microsoft to launch the first ever real-time online television network, UVNTV.com. "We are thrilled to work with Ice Cube and DJ Pooh, both whom have proven track records and have been at the forefront in music, film and television," said Microsoft executive John Case. UVNTV -- short for U View Network Television -- will feature exclusive channels and content such as Cube's Hip Hop 24/7 TV and Snoop Dogg's Snoopadelic TV.
The site will also give users the opportunity to showcase their talents and audition to star in their own UVNTV program.
