In an extremely bold move, Los Angeles-based rap star the Game -- currently facing weapons charges -- has accused the police of stealing $44,000 from him during a criminal investigation. The Game's attorneys claim that the police are withholding the confiscated money despite receiving a motion ordering them to release it. The presiding judge set a hearing date for January 22, to decide whether the LAPD should be held in contempt of court for withholding the rapper's loot. The Game's weapons possession trial will begin on February 4.
