Slow down Hov, you're killing 'em. No, really, slow down. Jay-Z continues to boast about being the "best rapper alive" as a humble Mary J. Blige adds her smooth vocals on the Swizz Beatz-produced track, 'You're Welcome.' Before we even had a chance to thank the two superstars for their contributions to hip-hop and R&B, the pair took time out of their busy schedules to say 'You're Welcome.'
In typical Jigga fashion, the rap star spits lyrics that continue to deliver his message that we are blessed to have him in hip-hop. "You'll probably never see it again/Somebody so deadly via the pen/Viva Hovito, my nino, muy bien/Big up to Biggie and Pac/I do it for them," Jigga rhymes. Meanwhile, Blige takes the more modest route with lyrics like, "If it wasn't for your love this would all be a dream/And ya'll made our dreams come true/That's why ya'll don't need to thank us/Because we do this all for you."
It's not clear where the new track lives beyond file-sharing websites, but rumor has it the pair released the track in anticipation of their 'Heart of the City' tour, which kicks off March 22 in Miami.
