After serving only eight days of a 60-day prison sentence for a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone, the Game is heading back to court. The man allegedly assaulted by the emcee during a basketball game last year has filed a lawsuit against the rapper for assault and battery, civil rights violation and negligence. Shannon Rodrick claims the Game bad-mouthed the opposing team and sucker punched him in the face. Rodrick also alleges that the rap star, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, pulled a gun out of his Cadillac Escalade and pointed it at him while saying, "I'm going to blast this fool."
Taylor was arrested after the incident and eventually pleaded no contest to felony possession. Rodrick is seeking an unspecified amount of damages.
