DMX is having a tough week. The embattled rapper was arrested early this morning at his home in Arizona on seven misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and four felony drug possession charges. Today's arrest comes just three days after he was apprehended at his home after a speed camera caught the rapper doing more than 100 miles an hour in a 55mph zone on a Phoenix highway in January.
This time X did not go without a fight. According to Sheriff Arpaio, the growling emcee attempted to barricade himself in his bedroom. He eventually came out and submitted to police officials. Five pitbulls were rescued from X's home and taken to the First Avenue Jail, where they will remain under the care of inmates.
