Always on the positive tip, Chi-town emcee Common and his Common Ground Foundation are promoting literacy to teens with The Corner, an online book club aimed at encouraging teens to read and discuss literature.The club will feature a list of recommended books, a book of the month and opportunities for members to blog and chat about the texts. The Corner will also feature monthly interviews with celebrities who'll reveal and discuss their favorite book.
In other Common news, the Grammy award-winning rapper will hit the big screen alongside Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy in the upcoming action flick, 'Wanted,' which hits theaters June 27.
