T.I. Bounces Back, Signs Three-Film Deal

T.I. isn't letting his impending prison sentence keep him from raking in the big bucks. The Atlanta-based rapper has signed a three-film deal with Screen Gems, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures. The bank heist drama, 'Bone Deep,' featuring Matt Dillon ('You, Me and Dupree,' 'Crash') and Idris Elba ('The Wire,' 'American Gangster'), will serve as the first of T.I.'s three flicks. The second movie, 'Boulevard,' is currently in production with a third to follow.

The Grammy award-winning rapper plead guilty to weapons charges in March and was ordered to perform 1000-1500 hours of community service as part of a plea agreement. The rap star will serve 366 days behind bars once he's completed at least 1000 hours of community service. T.I. has also signed on to film a six-episode MTV reality series surrounding his recent legal troubles.
