On a Today show segment discussing Barack Obama's omnipresence in the media Wednesday, NBC reporter Lee Cowan made note of Obama's wide ranging musical tastes, which span from Stevie Wonder to Jay-Z. Unfortunately, while the song they played was Jay's 'Dirt Off Ya Shoulder,' the photo they showed was Joe Budden. Not sure how that mistake could have been made- it's like confusing Robert Deniro for Ray Liotta, but Mediabistro reports: "More from an insider: '...it was an editing snafu. The producer of the story is one of the best the Today Show has...it was immediately fixed for the west coast feeds.'"
Well, that's embarrassing. Now NBC's gotta learn to live with regrets.
