After sharing his 'evolution' with his fans, Robin Thicke is ready to share his third studio album, simply titled "Something Else," on September 9. "I felt like a lot of stuff out there sounded the same. Plus, there are a lot of things going on in the world with the recession and the war. It made me feel like everybody really just needed something new, something else," Thicke said in a recent interview. "It's time for a change and there is hope for everyone."The singer describes the new project, which he produced along with friend/collaborator Pro Jay, as a blending of "classic Philly, Motown and '70s black disco" mixed with "the creativity of the Beatles and Bob Dylan." The singer-songwriter treated an intimate crowd to a private listening session back in April where he previewed the new sound. 'Something Else' will include a combination of soulful ballads such as 'Dream World' and 'Sweetest Love,' and old school horn-heavy dance grooves, like 'Sidestep' and the first single 'Magic.'
