Erykah Badu took to the Okayplayer message boards on Friday to sound off on fans that criticized the eclectic soul singer when news of her latest pregnancy hit the 'net. Badu is reportedly pregnant by producer Jay Electronica and while baby news is usually well received, fans and bloggers ripped the singer for her growing count of baby fathers. Ms. Badu took to the site's forum and blasted fans and haters for their recent judgment. Badu's response: "How Dare You Disrespect the Queendom ... and my children and my intelligence. I've never been so disgusted in all of my life. There is no other place I used to enjoy more. I post no where else. You guys have taken an all time low, tho."
Badu, who has a son by OutKast's Andre 3000 and a daughter by The D.O.C, goes on to defend her decisions. "I put much time and thought into having and raising my children. I've had the honors of having 2 home births and 2 wonderful partners by my side. Every relationship I have been in was because I loved the person dearly and was dedicated to us "exclusively" for a number of years. The fathers of my children are my brothers and friends."
The singer ends her rant by telling critics to "kiss her placenta" and acknowledges that she may lose some fans due to her outburst. We knew pregnancy made you emotional, but damn!
