Dr. Dre's Son Found Dead in Los Angeles Home

According to L.A. Weekly, the Los Angeles County Coroner has reported that Andre Young Jr., son of rapper and super-producer Dr. Dre, was found dead at his Woodland Hills home Saturday morning.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time," a statement from the Dre camp said on Tuesday.

According to Assistant Chief Ed Winter, the 20-year-old had been out the night before until 5:30 a.m. Young's mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 a.m. and found him unresponsive. She immediately called 911. An ambulance arrived to the scene and Young was later pronounced dead. The cause of death is unknown and a toxicology report is pending.

That's so said his dad's a Doctor and he couldn't save him.
I hears that the brothas and sistas that have ever said they'd drop dead if a brotha was nominated for President are starting to drop dead.Bernie Mac,Isaac Hayes and now this Doctor's son.

His dad is not a doctor. That's his stage name. He was a rapper, writer, producer, etc in the music industry.

Lakergregg,
I understand you have a freedom of speech but, please have some sympathy on his family and others. I recently lost my BEST/FAVORITE cousin on Mother's Day bc a stupid A** N***** was jealous of him; he was my aunt only child. However, it is weird that a lot of famous black male's are dying since Barack been nominated. My love go ouy to their families, GOD bless them.

you always expect yourself to go before your child in this day and age anything is possiable just goes to show you that celebs are human and they go thru the same realities we face just have to believe in god and trust that he is in charge im praing for him and his family and before you speak on someone u dont know what type of relationship he had with his son i dont care if he had 200 kids its still a terriable situation

it don't matter how many kids you have... when you loose one of your children it's disheartening. dre is not a young man anymore and he should respected like a gentleman not a g or a gent. he will go down as one of the hottest producers of all time and he earned it....

first of all how rude...the man just lost his son and you put out some bs like that...it's doesnot matter how many kids he has or knows about. the fact is that he has to bury a child....no parent should have to bury their child...no matter!
