The verdict is still out: Was hip-hop born in the Boogie Down Bronx or in Queensbridge? KRS-One, Marley Marl and MC Shan have since put their beef aside, but we can't forget the classic tracks created during the Bridge Wars of the '80s. With tracks including the group's ode to the 'South Bronx,' 'The Bridge Is Over' and '9mm Goes Bang,' 'Criminal Minded' was the East Coast's first real stab at gangsta rap.
