Top 20 Hip-Hop Albums of All Time: No. 5

'All Eyez on Me,' by Tupac
Recorded just hours after Tupac was released from prison, 'All Eyez on Me' is 27 tracks of a newly free man's rant. Pure 'I don't give a f---' over Daz Dillinger and Johnny J beats, the album, which Pac finished in two weeks, is considered one of the MC's toughest projects. Although we all love the socially conscious, poetic Pac, 'All Eyez on Me' exhibited the rap legend's fourth studio album is 100 percent "Thug Life."

Besides what was the unreleased/bootleg Makaveli 1 thru 7 tapes All Eyez On me changed the hardcore hip-hop game eternally.Even today there isn't an album or artist that can rol wit Makaveli. R.I.P Makaveli, the game ain't been the same since your departure.

I like Pac but I still feel like he was a little overrated. I would have probably picked "Me against the World" over this album.

I like Pac but in a lot of ways still feel like he was a little overrated. This was a good album but for the time I would probably pick "Me against the World" over this album.

NOOOO WAY!!! Tupac is #1...Who ever made this list isn't a rap fan and Biggie better not be anywhere between #1-#4...Even RUN D.M.C. should be closer to #1

One of the best albums ever! If Tupac were still alive, Hip-Hop wouldn't be so boring and so sense less. RIP TUPAC!!!
