In an effort to keep her family's personal life, well, personal, Solange lashed out at a Las Vegas daytime Fox entertainment news correspondent and in turn confirmed her famous sis' marriage to Jay-Z by repeatedly calling the hip-hop mogul her "brother-in-law." We safely assume Beyonce's lil sis wants to avoid being linked to her more famous sibling as she attempts to promote her new album and Solange's response to the interviewer's introduction and off camera comment proves that the singer means business.
Solange, you have alot of nerve. Learn some manners. Talking about unprofessional? You are who you are...Beyonce's sister. If anything, you should have been more upset that the anchor lumped you in the category with that no-talent Ashlee Simpson! I didn't hear her say anything about Jay-Z. Perhaps that was off live TV. If the way you started that interview is supposed to endear you to people, it did not. We're supposed to go buy your disc after that?
Yuck. This b is not all that to be so rude and disgusting on a promotional tour for her new album. what a waste. Yes people are going to ask about your sister and brother-in-law because they are interesting and you are not, duh. Plus Solange and and Bey could have benefited from a few more years of formal education instead of tutoring in the back of tour busses, if that even happened. Listening to these girls speak in an interview makes my ears bleed. They are so dry and teeter on sounding stupid. Listen to it again. I'm sure you will agree. I've heard Solange on radio interviews too and its the same dry ass monotone interview over and over. Some nerve. Doesn't she actually want this one to sell?
I hear enough news, and read enough to keep uponwho's who in music, but when I saw the internet note about Solange putting an interviewer in her place about Jay-Z, I had to ask myself who Solange is. I LOVE music of the 70's, but since seeing her interview, I will NOT be buying her cd. She should learn some manners. For all we know she could have been having one f'd up day and that last thing she wanted to hear at that moment was another comment about her sister instead of her...This is exactly how ppl like her and B become famous in the 1st place...cuz ppl like us sit around talking about them as if they really matter...no matter who she was rude to at the end of the it's not gonna put money in any of our pockets so why do we care so much...and what makes her so different?...had this happened to say a high school athlete who chewed out a newspaper for being compared to their sibling jock we would not give a damn...so again, cut the girl some slack...this is the 1st I've heard of her being rude so isn't everyone entitled to a mistake.
solange sucks....i wonder why she chose music...she should have been a customer representative at verizon, or better yet a hotel lobby receptionist...with that attitude, thats where she'll prolly end up....
I understand where Solange is coming from. She is her own person. I will get annoyed about people always comparing to me to someone else and asking me about my family.Its her time to shine and they need to give her that respect.
Now I know it will be hard for Solange, but I do feel that LaToya Luckett should have been given a better chance by people. I think she is talented but it's like she has the "Destiny's Child" curse following her- that has to be disheartening. People need to see indiviuals for just that-indiviuals and stop limiting them and tieing them to one specific thing. I mean, we wouldn't want it to happen to any one of us either, you know. Just saying.
