2008 On-Line Hip-Hop Awards Voting Starts Today

The 2008 On-Line Hip-Hop Awards gives fans the choice to vote for their Hip-Hop Favorites in 30 categories to include music, video and artists. Presented by SOHH.com fans can go to www.onlinehiphopawards.com to casts votes in their favorite categories.

"The Online Hip-Hop Awards were created to put ultimate control in the hands of the fans and recognize and celebrate them on the same level as the artists they love," said Felicia Palmer CEO & President of SOHH.com.

Through their partnership with Buzznet.com, the award show voting site was created to showcase the ceremony's web-based tools and ballots. "We love the authentic nature of the Online Hip-Hop Awards and recognize it as a great entrée into the urban category for Buzznet," said General Manager, Scott Boyd.

Nominations are to be submitted through October 14. From there, finalist from each category will be narrowed down to five. Fans will then place their votes from October 16 through November 15 to determine who will take home an award in each category. The winners will be simulcasted on the internet this November from an awards ceremony featuring performances and presentations from some of hip-hop's brightest stars.
