DJ AM and drummer Travis Barker have been released from an Augusta, Georgia hospital burn center one week after suffering severe injuries from an airplane crash that killed four of the six passengers. According to his rep Jenni Weiman, DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, returned to Los Angeles after his release. "While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide," said Weiman. "We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."
Both Barker and DJ Am were involved in a plane crash after a concert performance in South Carolina. Among the fatalities were Barker's assistant and body-guard. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash however they are looking into a blown tire as a possible reason.
