Beyonce Pens Letter to Her Fans, Talks New Album

While fans are anticipating Beyonce's new album the singer/songwriter spoke directly to them in an open letter on her website. Amid circulating rumors of missed deadlines and the album not being finished, Beyonce decided to speak out.

"I have worked on this album for close to one year. I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life," the singer said in a statement to her fans. "I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby."

Beyonce candidly express how important this album is to her. She went on to say that she has recorded over 70 songs and has spent more time on this upcoming release than previous works since her debut with Destiny's Child.

"I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side," she said. "There is no label or tag on my sound. It's me and I am so excited to share it with the world." Although the title of the album has not yet been released, it will be hitting stores on November 18.
