Lately Lil Wayne has been everywhere. The rapper has performed at almost every award show in 2008 and is one of the top searched artists on the 'net, so it's no surprise he'd make sure he was at the most important event of the year ... the birth of his new son. "I delivered him. I held the left leg the whole time," Wayne said in a recent interview. "It was nasty, very nasty, but it was wonderful. October 22, 9:25 a.m., 7 pounds, 12 ounces. He's the best thing to ever happen to me, next to my daughter." The rapper also made sure to mention that he's looking forward to releasing some new music, which includes a revamped 'Tha Carter III' and 'Tha Carter IV.' Wayne, however, chose not to explain why he didn't take the stage for the Boston Powerhouse show, instead the rapper cited "technical difficulties." According to media reports, Weezy failed to perform at Boston's TD Banknorth Garden because he refused to cooperate with security.

I saw both of my children born.. NASTY is NOT the word I would use to describe the experience...I'll bet he wasn't thinking Nasty when he was being a part of conceiving the child.. Just goes to show you the "Rapper", mentality.

Did you bother to read the article? Yes, he said nasty, and then he said "but it was wonderful."

Birth IS "nasty" as he said. It's messy, smelly and stomach-churning to those who aren't used to seeing it. However, as he also said, it's a wonderful miracle. I have been a labor and delivery nurse for many, many years, and while I will always think birth is messy, I never cease to be in awe of the fact that I've just been priviledged to witness another miracle. He was just being honest. There is nothing wrong with that.

It was his opinion. Explain what you mean by rapper mentality. Don't stamp his opinion on hip hop in general, they are two completely different things

why is everyone so upset he called it nasty.. It is nasty, as in gross, disgusting.. what is not gross about pushing a watermelon out of a pea size hole,or afterbirth? I am a mom and I recently gave birth and I say Eiew!Nasty..It doesn't take away from the beuaty of it.. Lots of Nasty things are considered art for crying out loud..Giving birth is like art, Nasty and beautiful.. yin, and yang.
