Ludacris Launches 'Undisputed Mic Throwdown' Contest

Did you ever think that you might end up on a track with Ludacris? Well, you might just get a chance. The rapper/actor has launched "The Undisputed Mic Throwdown" contest via his website www.wemix.com. The nationwide competition will give MCs the opportunity to win a guest appearance on the remix of Ludacris' single 'Undisputed.'

To be eligible to win contestants must record a 16-bar verse submission. The rap star will narrow down the choices to five finalists. "I just want artists to be themselves and try not to sound how they think I want them to on the track," Ludacris said in a statement. "Just be natural and deliver your absolute best." The grand prize winner, which will be announced in early December, will be selected by fans via the website.

Along with a guest appearance on the track, the winner will also receive a Sony Acid Pro 7 production package plus 10 loop packs. The runner up won't go home empty handed and will receive a Sony Acid Music Studio package and one loop pack.

Ludacris' upcoming album, 'Theater of the Mind,' hits stores on Nov. 25.
