Super-producer Timbaland will be taking his skills to the big screen. The music maven's company Mosley Media Group along with Effie T. Brown's Duly Noted Inc. are set to produce the upcoming feature film 'Vinyl.'

The film follows five women and the life changing decisions they face in their relationships with members of a rock group. Richard Zelniker will serve as the writer/director while Tim's wife, Monique Idlett-Mosley, Brown and Marcus Spence are both producers. Tim will wear the hat as executive producer and filming is set to begin next spring.

Timbaland's musical producing credits include Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, and singer/songwriter Keri Hilson. His forthcoming, third solo album, 'Shock Value: Volume 2,' is slated for a February 2009 release.
