Rapper/actor 50 Cent is not shy about responding to people via the media. In fact, his honesty seems to know no boundaries. In a recent interview with MTV, 50 responded to Donald Trump's claims of his show '50 Cent: The Money and The Power' being a less successful 'Apprentice' knockoff.
"Donald Trump talking about my show and how it's a knockoff of 'The Apprentice'? He's crazy!" he said. "That's what happens when you get older -- you start to view things differently." 50 went on to boast about his show's high ratings claiming that it beat out internet star 'Tila Tequila's show 'Shot at Love' which is one of MTV's highest rated reality shows.
50 also continued his public disdain towards Kanye West's new album '808s and Heartbreak.' On the album West tests out his vocal skills on many of the tracks and has received mixed reviews for his latest musical choices. "There's a place for it. I think people will enjoy it if you're actually in love or going through something," 50 said. "I think Kanye's going through an interesting point in his career." He also commented on singer T-Pain's large contribution to the album "I don't think the public will forgive [Kanye] for it, but it's interesting. I think it's T-Pain's record, but I'd rather buy it from T-Pain."He will either be proved right or proved wrong when '808s and Heartbreak' drops on November 24.
Meanwhile 50's album 'Before I Self-Destruct' has been pushed back to a 2009 release. The album's deluxe edition will include the two dvds 'Before I Self Destruct' the movie and 'Two Turntables and a Microphone: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay Documentary.'
