Rapper Gets 20 Years for Boasting About Shooting

Up-and-coming rapper Rico Todriquez Wright took "keeping it real" too far when he boasted about shooting Chad Blue on a song that has now landed him in jail.

According to the Associated Press, Wright wrote and released a song in which he admitted to shooting Blue in 2006.

The 28-year-old victim helped the police put the aspiring rapper behind bars when he told police he recognized Wright's voice on a CD, rapping "Chad Blue knows how I shoot."

Wright was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault. He will spend another 20 years on probation.

i guess that they punished him extra for being boastful through his song because noone gets 20 years and 20 more years probation for shooting someone who lives,so they definetly socked to him extra!
