Veteran rapper, No. 1 crowd motivator and our favorite human beat box machine Doug E. Fresh is in a bit of financial trouble. The rap icon, whose real name is Douglas Davis, reportedly has three New York homes currently facing foreclosure. Davis allegedly owes $3.5 million in mortgage payments on top of other debts, including a $376,000 Internal Revenue Service tab, and $60,000 in credit card debt.
Despite his current financial woes, Davis is set to open a new restaurant called Doug E's Chicken and Waffles in Harlem, New York. The rapper has yet to comment on the recent reports.
