Rapper Scarface has confirmed reports that he is headed into retirement after the release of his anticipated album 'Emeritus.' In several interviews the Texas rapper, born Brad Jordan, has said that this will be his last album."Scarface is dead, yeah, he's dead," he said in a video interview with former 112 member Slim. Scarface went on to say he is for sure taking a break from using his rap persona but plans to continue his musical career endeavors. "The artist formerly known as Face is going to produce some s*** on Slim's album but it won't be Face no more, Face is dead."
Scarface went on to say that he plans on expanding his musical projects. I grew up in a band, I play everything," he said. "As influential as I am in the music industry, it would be wrong to stay in the music and not bring it back."
The rapper made waves in the music scene as a member of the group The Geto Boyz before going solo. 'Emeritus' which means retired with honor was released earlier this month and features appearances from Lil Wayne and fellow Texas rapper Bun B.
