Shootout at E-40 Concert Leaves Five Wounded

Five fans were wounded at Bay Area rapper E-40's sold-out concert in Denver Saturday. One victim was listed in critical condition and remains hospitalized as of Sunday.

Authorities are still searching for suspects who went on a shooting spree in the early hours of Saturday morning following the event. According to reports, the shooting occurred in front of Denver's Club Vinyl as fans were making their way out of the venue. The shots were fired into a crowd of approximately 100 people. One witness reportedly saw "50 or 60 people running for their lives."

The hotel across the street from the club was also sprayed with bullets. Kendall Davis, a security guard for the hotel, said that Denver police come to the club up to five times a week and that altercations there are frequent. Six alleged crimes have taken place at the club in the past six months. Two years ago Denver Broncos player Darrent Williams was shot and killed in his limousine following an altercation at a club on the same block as Vinyl.
Police have released minimal information regarding the event but have confirmed that there were multiple shooters involved. Those with any information on the shooting are asked to contact the Denver authorities.

E-40 just recently released his new album 'The Ballstreet Journal,' featuring Akon, Too Short, and the Game.

I am just appalled by the comments made on this site. First, my sympathy goes out to all victims and their families. I didn't realize there were so many racist individuals in the world today afterall it is 2009. Violence can't be blamed on one's race,creed,or religion because we all are created equal and for someone to look at me and assume I'm carrying a gun is just as ignorant as me looking at every white male as a pedophile or every white mother as a potential threat to her child. Everyone is responsible for their own behaviors and everyone who thinks otherwise is just as stupid as the people who commit such crimes.

They're too scared to get shot...instead they are predators, diddling little girls and boys and loser with no friends who have to bring guns into school, shoot innocent children and then can't face the music and kill themselves.

I think the real crime is how you deny there is a problem within your community...Your response is like a child, "you white people commit crimes too"...There is no denying that your minority causes the majority of crime...Take responsibility for once and get off your lazy a$$ and do something about it

tanger you are honestly a cowardly idiot and I think you know it. I can see you sitting behind your computer laughing as you think up racist things to say hoping to get a rise out of people...so juvenile so juvenile.
If you are so concerned about blacks in America and we blacks are so lazy, then stop telling us to "get off our asses and do something" and you get off yours instead.
I can't do anything about the crazy black kids running around, nor can I control the crazy Hispanics or crazy whites, but I also just live my life and let others live theirs. You know for a fact that minority crime doesn't affect you but you'd rather act like...well...a cunt...online and bitch and moan about it like you're big. It's sad really.

This has nothing to do with the color of someones skin. There are just a bunch of crazy people out there who think if u look at them wrong u deserve to be shot. I wish people would stop hating and start loving. People don't kill people; guns kill people. Make it harder for folks to get guns, and maybe these killings would cease.
