Rapper Lil' Kim is speaking out about her discontent with the 'Notorious' biopic chronicling the life of friend and lover Notorious B.I.G. The film, which hits theaters in two weeks, shows the relationship between the rapper and Biggie as being very different from that of the one with his wife, singer Faith Evans. Kim blames Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace, and Evans for what she sees as an inaccurate depiction. "I've had enough and I'm about to expose them both ... I've been quiet for a long time," Kim said in an interview. "I'm very disappointed in Faith," she said. "There's nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin' B.I.G. all day. I'm [going to] always do that... It's time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed."
Former girl group member Naturi Naughton plays Kim in the film and acknowledged that she was not able to speak with Kim personally regarding the role. "I worked really had to capture the essence without having her at my side to help me," Naughton told the BoomBox. "I was intimidated by how she seemed secondary in Big's life...always being rejected. The emotions that it took to go there [were] really tough," she said.
To prepare for the role Naughton spent time in Kim's old Brooklyn neighborhood and talked to her friend, rapper Lil Cease and other members of the Junior Mafia group, which Kim was a member of.
After seeing the film in full length at a private screening last month, Ms. Wallace said that the most surprising scenes to watch were those between her son and Lil' Kim. "His relationship with Kim -- Lil Kim -- that was....oh God! The profanity, it was shocking," she said.
Both Wallace, Evans and Sean "Diddy" Combs all served as producers on the film while Kim's role was non-existent. 'Notorious' hits theaters January 16.

Whatever relationship Kim and Big had, the fact remains that Faith is his widow, and Violetta his mother. There was and is no legal obligation to include or get input from Kim regarding this project, which I understand was the brainchild of Mrs. Wallace.
I remember a story in People Magazine shortly after Big died, and it was Kim doing all of this talking as if she were his widow, and I remember her saying basically, that Mrs. Wallace and Faith might not like her, but they were going to have to deal with her.
This was pretty hostile, and the image the Kim chose to present to the world. If she's unhappy with the way she's seen, she needs to accept her part.

She could still sue for defamation. Although, she pretty much set herself up for failure given her past behavior.

Think about it. He has a computer and he type's SPEAKING in Ebonics. He's an upperclass white kid "wanna be", who most certainly can afford crack, but wont be a societal problem for us all until later, after he sells all of his parents valuables while their asleep, they lose trust for him and then guess who foots the bill for baby huey in rehab? The same race of people he was trying to denounce. Band wagon white kids making themselves the future minority, by selling out their own families histories and traditions for the sake of looking completely ridiculous in oversized clothes and fighting though proper english to attempt pronouncing the ownersip word of "mine" as "mine's". How does "mine" pluralize?
I look forward to your rebutted response on my grammatical errors rather than the message implied.

Ryan,
That's a pretty unfair assessment for you to make. How do they know if Bill is joking or not? We don't and if he is, that is fine with me as well. I thought he comments were funny, but the replies are funnier and might be accurate.
