Rapper 29-E was shot Sunday morning following a concert in Seattle. The up-and-coming rapper was one of three victims wounded during the shooting but was the only fatality. According to reports, the shooting occurred following a dispute at Seattle's Chop Suey nightclub. The gunmen allegedly opened the club's side door and began to shoot into a crowd, which included concert-goers and artists.
29-E was shot and rushed to Harborview Hospital where he later died. The show's host was also hit with a bullet to the chest and is currently in critical condition. Although he has undergone surgery, doctors have not said whether or not he will survive. The third person wounded received less critical injuries and is said to be in stable condition.
Two suspects have been apprehended and are being questioned by authorities. Though it has not been confirmed, authorities believe that the shooting may have been gang related.

again you people make me sick! I never heard of this guy and i just checked his myspace and he doesnt rap about guns the ghetto drugs etc. He was a artist who spoke from the soul. you assholes who judge people by what kind of music they write or perform are ignorant. rap crap my ass, its not worse then your honkey tonk get drunk steal a truck and beat your old lady music. or your take lsd and have random sex with hairy women music or your shove your religion down your throat music. stop judging people. see how easy it was for me to judge and stereotype, anyone can do it, doesnt make you smart to hate a genre of music, it makes you closed minded and ignorant. I love music period. i love country, jazz, rock, metal, rap/hip hop, oldies. classical, i love it all, its a form of expression. i love waking up in the morning and listing to a little james brown i feel good to get my day started, i love relaxing in the spa with a glass of champagne listening to some Beethovens 5th, or at the club listening to some jay-z, get my point. there is a bad seed in every one of them, dont judge or be judged yourself.

wow i totally feel the same way you do. people are so closed minded. i wish there were more people out there who could open their minds and enjoy an artist for the talent they have. thank you for your post and being able to put how i feel into words and i hope people will learn from your post and open their mind. i think if they did the world might just begin to be a better place to live.

F*ck people and their closed-mindedness. While they sleep and rest on the successes of their forefathers, the country is going to crap because they believe that they are still on top. What can expect from a country of people who are damn near last in math and science globally? Their opinion is worth more than research and education. It's a sad day in America when no one is interested in facts.
