Singer Rihanna will be hitting Malaysia next month and per the request of the government she will trade in her usual skin heavy outfits for more modest digs. According to the concert promoter Razman Razali, the pop-star's management is "aware of the country's regulations and the difficulties of doing a show". Rihanna, who is known for her fashion sense, has been deemed too sexy, as the singer can often be seen donning leotards with stockings and tight fitting tops. She is one of many performers who have been asked to follow strict guidelines in the Muslim ruled country. Under government restrictions, female performers must be covered from the top of their chest to the bottom of their knees.
Singers like Beyonce, Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani were all hit with the same limitations preceding their concerts in the country. In 2006 organizers of a Pussycat Doll's concert were fined around $3,000 for the group's scantily clad attire.
The concert, which will be held in the country's capital, is said to sell close to the 16,000 seat capacity. Rihanna is currently promoting the re-release of her 2007 album 'Good Girl Gone Bad,' which has produced hits 'Umberella,' 'Disturbia,' and 'Rehab.'
