In further 'Notorious' related drama/news, Aphilliates Music Group President La the Darkman confirmed that the group's owner, DJ Drama, was assaulted at the film's premiere in Atlanta last night, by members of Young Jeezy's crew CTE.
According to reports, Drama walked away unscathed. "There was a little scuffle. At a movie screening," Darkman explained in an interview today. "A little thing that got handled. Fake thugs with low self esteem want to pick on the DJs. We definitely didn't initiate this though. DJs don't go looking for beef with fake gangstas."
The crews previously clashed at Radio One's Dirty Awards in November, in response to incendiary remarks made by Jeezy during a video interview and at a recent show, where he said "F--- DJ Drama" onstage (You can find the clip on YouTube, if inclined).
Drama, whose Gangsta Grillz mixtape with Jeezy, 'Trap or Die,' introduced Jeezy to a nationwide audience, responded diplomatically, saying "If there are things me and Jeezy need to speak about, that's for us to do." He also added, "At the end of the day, I'm out playing good music...He makes good music, I rock it. Other than that, it's not too much I can speak upon."
