In putting the pieces together to remake the 1985 classic film 'The Last Dragon,' Wu-Tang Clan member RZA who is co-producing the film with actor Samuel L. Jackson, said he'd like to cast pop sensation Rihanna to take the role of video show host/singer Laura Charles. The role was originated by 1980's singer/actress Vanity of Vanity 6, while Taimak Guarriello played the lead character, Bruce Leroy (aka Leroy Green).
While several female artists have been looked at for the part, RZA says he's rooting for Rihanna. He also revealed that he and the filmmakers were in the process of finding a new-millennium Bruce Leroy, but wouldn't say who they're currently considering. (Wonder if Chris Brown is available?)

omg, WHY???? This is a effin classic! I am a fan of The Last Dragon and to choose Rihanna to play laura is a no go. I like Rihanna, but geez. Chris Brown as Leroy..maybe. Maybe Jessica Alba could do it or Rosario Dawson, or Alicia Keys. As for Leroy Green... I dunno. Lemme think about that.

I am highly upset that they are remaking this movie. LEAVE IT ALONE!!! I have an idea...go create an original movie. Nobody wants to take the time to be creative and original anymore. It's a shame.
If they do go ahead and do this remake(Please don't), I don't think Rhianna should be Laura. I think this role should go to an actress who can sing. After all, the singing isn't difficult and there isn't a lot anyway.
If Chris Brown ends up being Leroy, I'm going to the studio and kicking somebody's a%#!!!
