Although Swizz Beatz has vehemently denied that Alicia Keys was the "other woman" who caused the rift between himself and his longtime wife, his ex, Mashonda, says otherwise.
In an interview with Shade 45's Lip Service last week, Mashonda spilled the beans on Swizz, saying that she finally confirmed his infidelity by matching his credit card statements with Keys' tour dates. "That's a true statement, but that wasn't the first," she said. "It's not like I wake up, and I have to snoop," she continued, explaining the circumstances under which she made the discovery. "It's if you recognize...a dramatic change, and you're asking 'What's the problem?' and you're not getting an answer, you're just gonna have to [find out for yourself]."
After he had admitted to his relationship with Keys, Mashonda and Swizz separated. "We just a baby, but...people go through their things, and they feel like they've gotta make their moves and...you know, whatever makes them happy in the moment is what they go by."
