Mos Def has landed a role in video director Benny Boom's directorial film debut, 'Next Day Air.' The movie is centered around a UPS driver (played by Donald Faison) who mistakenly delivers a package of cocaine to the wrong address and finds himself in hot water with a group of drug dealers. The cast of 'Next Day Air' also includes Mike Epps, Wood Harris and Lauren London, and hits theaters on May 8. In related news, Mighty Mos is set to release his fourth solo album, 'The Ecstatic,' on Feb. 24 on Downtown Records. The rapper-turned-actor released the single 'Life in Marvelous Times' in late 2008, which was received with little buzz. The latest single 'Quiet Dog' began making its rounds on the 'net last week. The project is expected to include collaborations with Slick Rick, Jay Electronica and Black Thought of The Roots.
