Kanye West is changing his tune on the Chris Brown and Rihanna alleged assault. The candid rapper briefly weighed in on the altercation during the taping of VH1's Storytellers earlier this month. "Can't we give Chris a break? ... I know I make mistakes in life," he said.During the performance, West went on to talk about other headline grabbing celebrity legal woes. "Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing ... He's a real f---in' person; he makes mistakes," he said referring to the pictures that surfaced of Phelps' smoking marijuana. The crowd reciprocated with cheers but the Chicago native didn't stop there. "O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing though?"

West performed 14 songs, which included 'Touch the Sky,' 'Stronger' and 'Amazing' and 'See You in My Nightmares.'
Last month in an interview with radio host Ryan Seacrest, West stated that he was "devastated" upon hearing the news of the alleged beating. "I feel like just as a person...that should never happen, it should never come to that place."

O.J. What he did? Get away with murder? That IS pretty amazing. Too bad he's still gonna die in jail...
Jadeat 3-02-2009
Robert Blake got away with murder also... So did Mary Winkler...

Oh stop it. He was referring to his football career. And you just make yourselves look dumber eating from "out-of-context" bulls#!t salad. Hell I'm black and I KNOW O.J. did it, but he was a great football player. Michael Jackson is creepy as hell, but back in the day, he was an amzing artist. Amy Winehouse has talent up the @ss but she's a crack addict. Point, counter point. You ppl need a reality check, and let's hope it doesn't bounce.

Kanye West has finally lost his mind. Of everyone on this earth, he chose to write a song complimenting a woman beater, a child molester, a drug user, and a murderer! Were they good with their God given talents? Absolutely! However, they all chose to let their famous personalities raise them up, above the law, and do whatever the hell they wanted to do. It's time to pay the piper!

He's pissing on his mothers grave saying this insane shit. That boy needs help.I doubt he forgave the doctor who killed her with botched plastic surgery!

Oh don't forget, Kanye, President Bush, he made a mistake, too, so you gotta call him amazing too, right! So if you are in the overlooking faults mode, then you gotta include the former president.
Tboneat 3-01-2009
Oh I forgot that the accident you had years ago, Kanye, gave you some form of brain damage, so you have an excuse for these asinine statements.

I would not call killing your ex wife and her friend "amazing"....what a twit
highroller9769at 3-02-2009
everyone makes mistakes the only diffrence is that stars are always in the spotlight.
goro72at 3-02-2009
I bet you if his momma was around, he would have a different tune about what is amazing. Idoit just sing that is what you're good for, we'll that's what you think you can do. What OJ was amazing by escaping jail time, the first time. Everything comes full circle. CB will get his share. MJ is in a spiral about to crash again. M P is come full circle.

MUCH respect to all these dudes for crawling out of the holes many of them were born into, but that is where the respect ends for me. Their so called art is poison to our youth with its disrespect and condoning of abuse against women, and glamorizing drug dealing and violence against law in general. K West is the most arrogant and ignorant of them all. Everytime he opens his mouth "musically" or otherwise it makes me wanna puke. Word. Yes Im a cracker ass white guy who doesn't see life in colors, but rather attitude, and the attitude of many in the rap and hip hop world seems to suck to high heaven, rampant is reverse racism, hate and violence. Sorry if you grew up in that word, so did I, but never would I spread it around to kids like it was the norm. Clean up your act fools, or may your "art" die sooner than later. It is my sincere hope it goes the way of disco, dead dead dead.
