The long simmering "beef" between "Officer" Rick Ross and 50 Cent took a turn for the absurd yesterday, when 50 threatened to leak a sex tape featuring Ross's baby's mother. The feud has included diss tracks, animated videos, "Officer Ricky" jabs and a video of 50 shopping with one of Ross' baby's mothers, but the sex tape is next level.
The first clip of the tape is said to be leaking today, on 50's new website, BooBooTV.com, and will be narrated by 50, in character as "Pimpin' Curly." In the last "Curly" video, 50 threatened "I got both your motherf------ baby mammas. I'm a say this s--- nice and slow for you, for the last time, I'm a f--- up your life...You a Carol City cop, n----...I'll get you when I'm ready to get you."

Just another example of how the lyrics and lives of so many, or most, rap and hip hop 'artists' are low, filthy, cluttered with debased minds, lyrics, and hearts. These are the ones who are feeding our kids and young adults with trash, and the jerks at Viacom with their MTV, VH1, MTV, MTVJams, MtvU, MTVHits are promoting the filth, giving awards to them, and promoting these low life idiots. The lifestyles and lyrics of the rock statrs & groups of the 1970s-1980s are tame compared to these creeps. There were no drive by shootings, or murder after murder, either. The Viacom channels are quick to fake a bleeding heart liberalism when they have their PC issues, but callous to the real need to clean up their act.
Blind leading the blind.
Even many fans of rap & hip hop, and some of the artists are bemoaning the degeneration of the rap/hip hop scene in quality of the stuff, lifestyles, and lyrics, but they are very few and far between.50 Cent is only 1 example. Big egos. Little talent, musically.
This website has a place showing us where to buy his CDs & 'songs'.
When will America wake up?

First off, 'kissingintongues' you need to get off your high horse. Real talk. You obviously don't know much about music if all you have to say about hip-hop is the majority of the front runners are untalented hacks. There's much more out there then what Viacom puts out. And there actually good rappers out there (Luda, Jay-Z, Nas, etc.) But I ask, WHY THE **** DO YOU CARE? You act like you never seen a feud between celebrities before. You think only rappers have beef? You turn on the TV, and regardless of what race/background, people have beef. Funny thing is the MAJORITY of celebrated celebrity beef is between rich white women. (The View anyone?) Also I ask, why do you blame Viacom? Viacom is responsible for a lot of wrong-doing in mass media, I'll agree with that, but to think that they should get the finger *solely* pointed at them, shows me you have no idea about the scene, mass media, or the US of A.
As for the current beef, there had been plenty of speculation about Rick Ross's authenticity of his 'Biggest Boss' persona. I personally have heard multiple reports from people who seen him in-person before he got famous, and he didn't seem to appear to be a drug kingpin he claims to be. Not to knock him down to take sides or whatever, but 50 seems to putting him in place, we just got to see how it turns out.

Have a nice day.

Aleph,
1) No high horse. I've seen plenty of rap & hip hop lyrics, lifestyles, and new reports of shootings and killings within the hip hop/rap scene. I have a whole collection. That garbage was NOT in the rock scene. There may have been a little (though I don't know of any), but nothing like today. There are artists that have lyrics that don't glorify violence, aren't demeaning to women, etc. I never said all of it is like that. I specifically said "much OR most". Therefore, that covers any idea I say, or mean ALL of them. However, a LOT is.
Would you like me to list the sample I have in my Rap/Hip Hop folder?
2) What Viacom puts on their channels are what the rap & hip hop artists THEMSELVES make for them to have on MTV, MTV-etc, VH1.
THAT is what the young people watch & see when they turn on those Viacom channels. I already said not all of the artists have the negatives I referred to (and more I haven't).
3) You said: "You obviously don't know much about music if all you have to say about hip-hop is the majority of the front runners are untalented hacks"
(a) "ALL [I] can say"? I never said "ALL" on anything I said. You need to read my words for what they say, not what yuo imagine.
(b) The statement "LIttle talent, musically" is my thoughts in comparisoon with other groups, and rock, for example. NO rap or hip hop artist has anything I have ever heard that comes close to the musical fullness, or vocal range of Queen, Journey, KISS, Boston, etc., etc. That does NOT mean rap & hip hop artists have no talent. They obviously do. I made one sentence on that issue. I could have been clearer, but musically, they do not come close to the classic artists and groups in pop, rock, etc. Rap isn't singing- it's talking with a rhythm/beat. Hip hop has some exercising of the vocals with singing, but it ain't close to other genres that go way beyond any rap & hip hop artist with what they do with their voices. You can even compare what is found on the radio & VH1/MTV by Beyonce with her former group, Destiny's Child, or Beyonce singing the National Anthem. I wish she's sing more, and hip hop less. She does that, but most of what I find on TV or radio. Unfortunate, because she has a good voice.
Hands down.
I admit that some of the music I like isn't the best talent, but it IS music- full singing, more than minimal instruments in use. I also admit that music genres that I only passively like or can't stand are superior to ANTHING I listen to. This is nothing to do with my personal taste. Classical music is far superior as far as musical talent than anything in rap, hip hop, or the music I like. The same for the opera with the 'showing off' of the voices, I call it 'high opera'. I cannot stand it, I like rap & hip hoop better than that, but I admit it is far superior to what I like (though some of the singers I like in rock were trained in opera, but sang rock with awesome voices).
3) Tye majority of those who beef are white women on TV? Maybe, but let's not forget all the MTV/VH1 'reality' shows like Falvor of Love, and a myriad of others
This isn't a racial thing, though you brought up race, not me.
I am not talkimng about 'beefs', but bullets. Some of the rap & hip hop deaths, etc., are from gangsters who became either the artists, and/or those in the CD/music label companies (not all, of course). I did not mention 'beefs'. I referred to drive by shootings, death. THAT did not happen with classic rock, or the rock, pop, etc., scene of the 1970s, 80s, 90s, or even today. If it did happen, it was far less.
THAT was NOT like TODAY.
4) I was not giving a full list, so it isn't correct to object to my using Viacom as an example. The media, etc., plays apart, but I see the music videos, and other not-so-charming things on the Viacom stations. I never said, or hinted the finger should be solely pointed to them. OBVIOUSLY 'the scene' the media, etc., is part of the problem.
I'd love to see a big surge for the solution.
Sharpton & J Jackson, etc., uses the race card, complains about some valid issues, others not, but when are they going to call for responsibility, etc., within the rap hip hop scene?
I see the problems all too often, and visibly.
5) Rick Ross isn't the only one who faked his persona, if Ross is faking. I think 50 Cent did that, didn't he? Maybe it was Akon. Maybe both?
It doesn't matter if they faked it or not. They are using either a fake, or real, bag of filth to use it as a badge of honor and notoriety, and to make them more popular with it. NO excuse for that. It still gets fed to the kids.
It's filth and poison, either way.
Viacom is glorifying it, putting the artists on their music video shows, and the rest. They aren't the only venue of this mess, but they certainly are a main place kids go for the videos, the shows, and so on, that the Viacom 'music' channels air to kids.
6) I don't think narrarsating a sex tape will put Ros in his palce, as far as his claim to infamy.
It's a cat fight between egos, or whatever there issues are.
As the article said:
"In the last "Curly" video, 50 threatened "I got both your motherf------ baby mammas. I'm a say this s--- nice and slow for you, for the last time, I'm a f--- up your life...You a Carol City cop, n----...I'll get you when I'm ready to get you." "
Keep feeding that into the minds of the youth.

I see conservative elitist have used this story to condemn hip hop. Its funny how a white tattooed kid with 100 piercings waling on one chord on a guitar and yelling at the top of his lungs is music or "heavy metal" but rappers are untalented hacks lol. If I recall the big hair 80s rock bands are filled with misogyny with their tales of orgys with silicon filled strippers and doing lines of coke. Sure alot of rap is dominated by violence but so is rock. Where was the condemnation when those columbine kids shot their class mates, they weren't listening to hip hop. Rock stars die of suicide and drug overdoses. Hip hop stars kill each other over "beef" Neither is right but you cant condemn one without the other. Our pop cilture as a whole is amoral so please come off your high horse. its only because hip hop is so popular and its stars are black is why you want to hold it to a higher standard than heavy metal with its abundance of suicidal themes or pop music like Brittney spears with its oversexed "lolita" themes.
wentya1230at 3-15-2009
Why must everything end in being racist? saying "its only because hip hop is so popular and its stars are black is why you want to hold it to a higher standard" STOP THINK SH*T LIKE THAT bud. It's not because the artists are black that some people don't like rap or hip/hop. There are people who like a guitar and different ranges of vocals in their music, and there are some that like rap. and no where in any of the replies before yours (BELLOR), was there any hint of hating African-Americans so dont even play that crap. And not all rockers have peircings, it's just because they're white that you want to lower the standard on rock. Also the music that the shooters at Columbine listened to is irrelavent and is just idiotic to even mention (to my knowlege there are no songs that egg on children to take up arms and shoot their school up). Rockers are not the only people that do lines and lines of coke, and can you please tell me a time when two rival rock groups pulled guns out and let a rip? I really want to know.

First of all I would like to say that I enjoy 50cents music along with other rappers. I also listen to bluegrass, gospil, country, rock and about any other kind of music that gets my soul groovin. With that said, I am a 44 year old breast cancer survivor, with grown kids and grandkids. I feel that this video I just watched was somewhat distasteful, 50 cents, you are so much better than this. BUT as far as our kids go, PARENTS should be monitoring what their kids are doing, NOT blaming their behavior on ROLE MODELS. I feel in todays times, the parents have really let the next generation down. Put them in front of a tv, let them sit for hours playing video games, let them play on the computer without supervision.... COME ON PEOPLE..... I wasn't raised like that and didn't raise my kids like that. My dad still has a sit down, shut up and don't move look that he glances to me, and I at the age of 44 know to behave. AND he didn't beat or abuse me as a child. We was not raised in a home that practice going to church regularly, but we still believe in God. Give me a break, and put blame where it is deserved and you as parents step up to the plate and take responsibility for your kids. And please 50 cents, put out more good music that we enjoy to hear.
