Kanye West Charged with Grand Theft, Battery and Vandalism

Kanye West has been charged with three criminal misdemeanors for his episode with the paparazzi at LAX, last Sept. 11.

TMZ caught the "assault" on video, as West smashed a camera and a TMZ light, along with manager Don Crowley, who has also been charged with six counts of grand theft, battery and vandalism. Check the "vicious attack" out here.

Crowley is accused of destroying the TMZ camera and another camera, while his royal majesty West is charged only with breaking the TMZ flash.

If convicted, West faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison, while Crowley is looking at twice the time. West and Crowley are due back in court for their arraignment on April 14.

It's been a strange year for the Louis Vuitton Don, but we hope he doesn't end it in lockdown.

OMG Michelle Obama does have a smile just like an orangutan. That's one creepy looking woman. If I woke up next to her in bed I'd literally be scared to death. Anyway, kanye is nothing more than a thug. He can't sing. The computers do all the work. His appearance on idol proved that. That midget could get away with a lot more than that because he's a celebrity. If the masses of idiots would quit standing up for idiots like him maybe they'd get punished more for their actions. The intelligent know that will never happen so celebrities will continue to get away so many things, even murder.

Let's be fair . Why have they waited so long to prosecute someone who violated the law ? If it was Joe Nobody he would have been in jail since last Sept. Let's be fair. Do not let the famous get away with it while we suffer immediate punishment. Let's be fair.

I think it might be the best thing for this loose cannon. His temper isn't going to hurt him ... it's going to hurt someone else.
