Kanye West, Spike Jonez Team Up for Short Film

Kanye West and Spike Jonze are currently hard at work on a short film. The superstar rapper and director last collaborated on West's memorable 'Flashing Lights' video, but this time they're raising the bar, creating a 10-15 minute long 'Thriller' style short, which features West's 'See You in My Nightmares,' a track from his recent album '808s & Heartbreak.'

The film was shot over the course of two days in Los Angeles. "I'd rather not say what [the] plot is," Jonze's producing partner Vincent Landay explained in a recent interview. "It came to him, and he called Kanye and said, 'I think you'd be great in this. We showed Kanye a very early rough cut, and he said, 'It's very Spike Jonze.' ... I don't know when or where it will debut. We did it for fun, so maybe it would be good if someone would give us an actual deadline for it."

Jonze and Landay's upcoming film 'Where the Wild Things Are' will be in theaters this fall.
