Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against QD3 Entertainment, which is owned by music pioneer Quincy Jones' son Quincy Delight Jones III, and Digerati Holdings for releasing a documentary about the rapper without receiving his approval. In December 2008, the company sent a copy of the film to be screened by Wayne's manager. The rapper's management was displeased with the project and claimed the documentary included distasteful material that needed to be removed prior to a Sundance screening. Another clip of the film was sent to Wayne's manager in January but the star's reps where still unhappy and requested that certain material be eliminated.
Instead of following the request, the film company allegedly presented what's been labeled a "scandalous portrayal" of Lil Wayne at the Sundance Film Festival.
The rapper's camp is suing for breach of contract, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, unfair business practices, fraud and invasion of privacy amongst others charges.

Oh how I love hip-hop....but I wish Lil Wayne would just overdose and die already. He is reinforcing negative stereotypes about rappers and for some odd reason, these kids think he's the messiah of rap!
