Al B. Sure's Son Releases Emotional 'Letter to My Father'

Nineties singer Al B. Sure's son with former model Kim Porter is airing his dirty laundry on the 'net via a letter, which is accompanied by an emotional song. Quincy Brown, who was raised alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs children, grew up in the limelight due to his mother's longtime relationship with the entertainment mogul, but now the 17-year-old is speaking out about his biological father's absence.

"I grew up without my father, an irreplaceable force and influence that was absent in my life. I watched other kids enjoy the embrace of theirs, and I searched for a way to reconcile the meaning of my circumstance," Brown writes in the letter.

The teen goes on to confess his pain and frustration, but reveals that Combs has been a great father figure. "Sean Combs is the person whom I look up to and appreciate as a father. He is the one who help mold me into the person I am today and will always try to live up to his expectations. He has always been supportive of me and I will forever love and respect him."

Diddy showed his love for Brown aka iQ and pulled out all the stops for the teen when he turned 16 almost two years ago. MTV chronicled Brown's lavish "Stunna 16" for the network's 'My Super Sweet Sixteen' series. Al B. Sure reportedly failed to appear at his son's birthday party.

P. Diddy is not known for treating people who interfere with his agenda with any measure of kindness and understanding. Perhaps gangsta Al was afraid of the consequences of being involved with GodFathuh Diddy's inner circle. Maybe between the two men, he was warned away and to save face he just did so quietly. Something isn't setting right...when you hyave two fanous fathers, you should have twice the result, not minus one...

Why do stars, and the children of stars, believe that their problems are somehow more important, than those of "regular" people, who have gone through similar experiences? Stop whining! If it's all the same to you.... I'll reserve all my sympathy for those abandoned kids, who didn't have multi millionaire's to be their surrogate fathers! They should put the rich and famous inside a walled city of their own, because one could definitely make an argument that they are a seperate species from ordinary human beings.

I think the reason why he made it public was maybe bc his father would acknowledge him unless he made it public.. in a way he is publicly calling his real father out.. that should get a response..

first of all how did his mama end up with puff in da first place.she was crushing puff then and dissed the becoming-broke singer.that's where his dad went.im sure there is more to dat story that puff,kim,and al. b are telling da young boy.he's been old enough for years now to ask where's my daddy.now dat da young mf has been spoiled to death,mtv shows,all dat....mf puff is ya daddy now leave it alone.

Pay attentin ladies this is what you and the father do to your kids when you don't stay together.I was lucky, my single Mom knew my life would be better if I were put up for adoption and I was raised in a very nice upper middleclass neighborhood.I always knew I was adopted and met my bio Mom shortly after my 18th birthday.My bio Mom kept a second child my 1/2 brother who is all screwed up because he grew up without his Dad.I feel bad for him that he didn't get the same advantage I did.He's serving 15-25years in prison now and won't be out until he is 50 years old.I know many will say that they grew up with a single MOm and are fine but the statics say that that is a rare occurance. Most end up in jail. addicted to drugs, alcoholic, or with their own brood of kids with no father and continue the cycle.

TOO MANY FATHERS IN OUR COUNTRY, WHITE AND BLACK, AND ANY OTHER COLOR YOU WANT TO MENTION... THINK THEY CAN IGNORE THEIR KIDS AND GET AWAY WITH IT... BUT THE JIG IS UP ON THIS ONE AND I APPLAUD THE BOY FOR SPEAKING UP.

what a joke you know how many people grow up without fathers or mothers and just because this tool knows Sean "puffy, p. diddy, diddy" combs he is news? fcuk him watch the super 16 party he had and feel bad about this crybaby
