After a very successful run with his Apple Bottom Clothing and Accessories line, Nelly has decided to add a scent to his popular brand. In a deal with Romane Fragrances the St. Louis native will launch Apple Bottom by Nelly Eau de Parfum this fall along with a line of body care products. "Apple Bottoms jeans make a woman feel great about herself, and that's exactly the same feeling our fragrances and body care products create," Monte Heinge, CEO of Romane Fragrances, said in a statement.
In a recent press release Apple Bottoms described the new scent as, "infused with a burst of citrus and a subtle pink peony note. There's also rose and coconut as floral layers, resulting in a sensual, feminine base of the fragrance.
"This fragrance is designed to be the perfect compliment to the lifestyle of the Apple Bottoms woman. It celebrates the beauty and the curves we see in our core female demographic."
The new fragrance will join the ranks of other celebrity scents created by Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and Usher. Apple Bottoms by Nelly Eau de Parfum won't break the budget with 3.4 oz. bottles priced at $58 and 1.7 oz. going for $48.
