DMX was released from Arizona's Maricopa County Jail yesterday afternoon (May 13) after spending over 90 days in the facility for animal cruelty, drug and fraud related charges. Originally sentenced to 90 days in jail, the Yonkers native's stay was prolonged after an alleged altercation with a corrections officer. In an interview conducted during his incarceration, DMX spoke of plans to begin a Christian ministry once he left the Arizona facility. "I'm going to start a TV show called Pain and Perseverance, it's about how I can reach people that the average person can't reach because I'm grounded," X said.

"I'm going to give my first sermon in the church. That's going to be incredible for me and hopefully the congregation of that church. I've completed my gospel album. On every one of my albums there's been a gospel song and prayer. Because of my image those songs are never made singles except my sixth album where they did 'Lord Give Me a Sign.'"
Reports surfaced back in April that following his release from jail X would join the next cast of 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.' Reps for the troubled rapper have since denied the claims, stating the reports to be false.

THATS NICE, BUT WHEN ONE READS ALL THE ""I DID THIS"", ""I WILL..."""...HE DOES NOT HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO WORK FOR CHRIST, IT IS STILL ALL ABOUT HIM

17The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.[a] 18But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.[b]

The only thing more dangerous than a thug with a gun is a thug with a gun and a Bible.

Everyone finds God in jail. The real test is " How is your relationship with HIM one year later. People do change But im skeptical about this one lol I'm not suppose to judge I know, but in my opinion I won't watch follow or watch him. I rather stick to my role models like Charles Stanley, Joel Osteen, and my local church pastors.
GOD BLESS US ALL

osteen??really........according to him were all going to be rich, healthy and live perfect lives...all you have to do is have more faith!!! sorry- that just about as opposite from the Bible as you can get!!!!

Osteen never once cracks open that Bible. He's all about feel-good religion. He wants everyone to like Him. Too bad, if you don't accept Jesus Christ and repent, you're going to hell.

Ask the one who condems Joel Osteen if they have ever been to Lakewood. Go sometime and see the 500 to 2,500 each service accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Before you cast the first stone go see for yourself. That's really what it is about. As for DMX, what if this was your only son, or your father, or your brother. I'm sure your words would be a bit softer and more in line with What Would Jesus Think or Say. This old world is full of condemnation. Read Romans 8:1 and 2ndCorithians 5:17, you could find out the word will in fact allow the truth to set you free. I will do what we are asked to do. BNPRAYER

Yes, Osteen. You missed the message, erik and tay. Osteen says change the way you think and change your life. Christ said the same thing, as did Solomon. Read up; it's true.

TayTay as Christians we are to convict our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ not be filled with a spirit of condemnation. Do you propose to know the mind of God???? That is the question that comes to mind whenever I hear the pronouncement that someone is "going to hell". You can't speak on what his judgement will be. Remember there's the great white throne Judgement that no Christian will have to face. As christians we will be under the Lamb's judgement which will be about the works of our faith since accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

They ALL find religion--after they've been caught.
Once they're respectable again, they're back at it.
Religion--the last reguge of scoundrels.
