C-Murder Pleads No Contest to Attempted Murder

New Orleans rapper C-Murder has pleaded no contest to attempted murder charges, according to reports.

The unfortunately named MC and brother of Master P, plead out to two counts of attempted murder in the second degree for a 2001 incident when Murder, born Corey Miller, threatened two men with a gun at a Baton Rouge nightclub, one of whom was a bouncer and the other, the club's owner. Miller attempted to shoot the owner, but his gun jammed, so he fled the scene and was later apprehended and charged.

Miller will be sentenced in 90 days and the prosecution is recommending 10 years for the attempted murder charge. He will also go to trial on August 3rd for the unrelated 2002 murder of a 16-year old fan. Though he was initially sentenced to house arrest after being convicted for that murder in 2003, Miller has been awarded a retrial, due to possible witness tampering.

HATERS HATERS HATERS!!!!!!! iam all for justice and doing the right thing but to all of you who are commenting on race and calling the man an idiot i think you should step back and look at yourselves. is really necessary the name calling and racist comments. he is definitely not the best rapper nor does he have the best content in his lyrics by far but he went after his dream and was successful. that is commendable. granted he is no angel and alot of the things he is going through are due to poor decision making but none of us are perfect. we all know someone who is in jail for something they did not do or at least heard of someone. dont be so quick to judge because that is the same judgement GOD will use on you. if you dont believe in GOD then you dont count anyway so this is not for you.

Mr. Big, I'm not Hilary and don't appreciate being compared to her. I stand on my own experiences and don't require validation from you or any Hilaries. My comments were based on your inference. If you can call me pretentious, then I can surely call you arrogant and IGNORANT. Your "advanced degrees" clearly haven't advanced your thinking and I feel eternally sorry for any youngsters who've had you as their representative. My community service has served many well, and those experiences have taught me that not everyone is a "C-Murder," nor do they deserve to be treated as such. When we, as a society, learn to stop compartmentalizing everyone and just deal with each situation differently, I might decide we've become somewhat elevated in our thinking. However, if you are an example of elevated thinking, I believe I'll just pass.

i also want to state, I am not either a racist nor am I discriminating or prejudice against other skin colors, heritages, etc. So please don't touch on those topics with me. I just want to see justice prevail to the MAX when somebody commits a crime. That's all.
