DMX Headed Back to Jail?

Rapper DMX may be headed back to a familiar place: jail. Just eight days after his release from Arizona's Tent City Jail in May, the 37-year-old pleaded guilty to a felony aggravated assault charge. According to TMZ, the charge stems from an altercation the Yonkers native had with a prison guard while behind bars.

X verbally threatened the guard, an act that landed him in lockdown and punished him with a "special diet that is a form of bread and water." Although, he initially entered a plea of not guilty, the rapper reached a deal with prosecutors and copped to the assault charge.

The father of three completed his 90-day sentence on May 22, and was said to be making a dramatic change in his life. "I'm going to start a TV show called Pain and Perseverance," said X of a Christian ministry that he is trying to start. "It's about how I can reach people that the average person can't reach because I'm grounded."

"I'm going to give my first sermon in the church. That's going to be incredible for me and hopefully the congregation of that church." X went on to say that he completed a gospel album and is also scheduled to go on tour.

X will find out Monday, June 8, if he's headed back to the big house.

Well Mr.X, if you are so able to reach those who others can't because you're so grounded I doubt you would be facing (possible) more jail time. You're already off to a rip roaring start being a role model for your own three children, let alone setting a good example for others. First lesson: Practice what you preach. Your actions which landed you in jail in the first place hurt more than just the person you assaulted, they hurt every one who is connected to you and cares about you. You put them in their own private jail of pain.
